Sightseeing in La Grange TX – Czech Center, Texas Quilt Museum, and Roundtop

ElizaBeth had always wanted to visit the Texas Quilt Museum and we also ran across the Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center. Driving in, we came through Roundtop, Texas, which looks like it wants to become the next antique center of Texas. If you’ve ever watched Barnwood Builders you’ll know they just opened a place – and we had to see it.

Waco, Somewhat Back on the Road Again while Social Distancing

I still get tired easily, and we never have liked to drive more than a few hours anyway – and Waco fit the bill at 196 miles. Coming through College Station on Highway 6, we ran into a vicious thunderstorm. I was glad to stop when we did.

Goodrich TX, Lesley, and not quite … Back on the Road Again

I completed radiation treatment on March 10 and while I have said before I’m not writing about the details of treatment, I will say that the next to last session was particularly rough.
