For Texas and New Mexico, we track counties on our travel maps. I realized that we had stayed in numerous Texas and New Mexico counties before we started living in this coach full-time, so I added those at this stop. I also added Arizona to our state maps, since we visited there in one of our first long trips.
Once we set up, it was time to eat. We were afraid that Covid had closed many places, and we were right. We ate at Johnny B’s , which was a Longhorn Steak House up until 6 years ago.
We camped in space #1, the spot we stayed in years ago at Thanksgiving. The lake levels are really low. This was an in-and-out stop, so we didn’t see a lot.
