We stayed in Post Falls, adjacent to Coeur d’Alene.
We took a boat tour and saw the fabulous homes along the lake.
As usual, we ate well. Our first day we drove downtown and ate Italian Food aTito’s Italian grill and Wine Shop. We pulled the Traeger out since we’ll be here a few days, I ate ribeye one night, and ElizaBeth fixed King Salmon the next and I grilled it – we are in the Pacific northwest after all. We had date lunch at El Ranchero and on our last night we went to Teton House.
We went on a tour of the Buck Knife factory, and then drove around. We saw the University of Idaho Research Park, and then stumbled into Falls Park and the hydroelectric plant. The park runs along the Spokane River and is really nice.
On our last day, we went to the Museum of Northern Idaho.
Our neighbors in the park has a little ceramic dog, Pepper thought he found a friend. Like most of the towns, the traffic boxes are painted.
