Big Bend country has always been “our spot,” as ElizaBeth and I had our road trip to Fort Davis.
These are some of our favorites, the McDonald Observatory, the Alpine RailRoad Station – and yuccas!
I wanted to make sure we went to two places this trip, the original Reata and the Holland Hotel with the Century Bar and Grill. The Holland is a Trost building.
We have stopped at the Museum of the Big Bend before, but this time it was finally open. It was great – they are building an expansion.
It seems like we always wind up going to see what’s happening at the Fort.
