Sioux Falls SD
This was a place we wanted to come back and see, when we were here before, I was teaching Toolkit at South Dakota State University.
We stopped in at the Visitors Center as we entered South Dakota.
We really liked the KOA the last time here, but stayed at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park because the KOA was full. It was their Christmas in July weekend – with lots of kids! We managed to get in a round of miniature golf, won by the Navigator.
I’m getting lots of philly steak and reuben sandwiches. We ate at North Star Grill, Marlin Family Restaurants, Johnny Carino’s, and when we went to Falls Park and the Great Plains Zoo.
The Farmers Market had been added to Falls Parks since we were here last.
The Battleship South Dakota Memorial was having power problems, but still allowed us in anyway. I enjoyed all the old equipment. That Kingfisher plan was a seaplane that was catapulted off the ship and then winched back on.
The Great Plains Zoo and the Roar Cafe were a nice date
