We knew the Little Creamery in Brenham was close because we come right by there on the way to Goodrich. ElizaBeth did the planning, we took the dogs to day-camp and she drove us up.
The little creamery was a fun day’s diversion, and we had some ice cream to boot.
We took quite a few creamery pictures.
We knew from our museum tours that we were in the heart of Stephen F. Austin’s Texas, we had read our history and enjoy finding the places on the maps. We took a shortcut back from the creamery and stumbled across this statue at the intersection of highways 36 and 159 in Belleville, the seat of Austin County.
